Inclement Weather April 27, 2015

Weather Condition Statement – April 27, 2015 as of 2:30 p.m.

On April 27, 2015, College officials met to discuss the weather condition.  The National Weather Service has reported that the severe weather threat has diminished over land as the strongest storms will remain over the Gulf waters this afternoon.  However, heavy downpours, lightning and gusty winds can still be expected.

The College’s Inclement Weather Policy says faculty and students are responsible for meeting assigned classes.  In the event of inclement weather, faculty and students will be expected to attend classes as usual as long as they do so without risk of peril to themselves or to others.

Faulkner State Community College officials will continue to monitor the weather conditions.  Any updates or news will be posted to the College’s homepage.
