Faulkner State Receives Lagniappe Magazine Award

Faulkner State Community College has been named Best Junior/Trade/Technical College by Lagniappe Magazine and was acknowledged among the best companies, businesses and service providers by the magazine in their voter-driven Nappie Awards.

Faulkner State is known for providing accessible and affordable education and for its big college atmosphere.  With programs of study from Animation and Visual Effects to Veterinary Technology, student organizations to enhance academics or personal interests, and championship athletics teams, Faulkner State provides a unique college experience.

“Our students make us the unique college we are,” Dr. Gary Branch, president of Faulkner State said.  “They entrust us to provide them a quality education and a great college experience, and we work hard every day to ensure they receive the best.”

Lagniappe Magazine’s Nappie Awards are well-known locally as readers, shoppers and voters select the best of the best in a variety of categories.  This year, Lagniappe Magazine reported more than 1.4 million votes by individuals in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
