Consolidation Mission and Goals February 2016
It is an exciting time at Faulkner State Community College! Alabama Southern Community College, Faulkner State Community College and Jefferson Davis Community College are going to be consolidated into a new institution and personnel from all of the colleges are working hard to make this a seamless transition.
Through this consolidation, we will be able to offer enhanced educational opportunities, leadership/student activity opportunities and academic resources for all of the students in this beautiful region of Alabama!
We would like for you, our students, employees and community, to have input into the mission statement and goals for the New College.
The Mission and Purpose Committee has been charged with developing a draft of the Mission Statement and Goals for the New College. We have reviewed the current mission statements and goals/priorities for Alabama Southern Community College, Faulkner State Community College and Jefferson Davis Community College and have analyzed the common elements and then created a new statement and set of goals for review.
