A Message From Faulkner State Police Chief, Chris Johnson

2/11/2016

With Valentine’s Day upon us, the Faulkner State Police Department would like to remind you that everyone deserves a safe and healthy relationship. Remember, love has many definitions, but abuse isn’t one of them. Please join the Faulkner State Police Department as we pledge to raise awareness of dating violence. Our very own FSCC Student Government Association and Sun Chief Volunteers have been gracious to sponsor this campaign by providing colorful shaped hands that read “Hands don’t Hit”.  By pledging a small donation, you will receive a hand with your name on it to post throughout all of our campuses. At the end of the campaign, all proceeds will go directly to the Lighthouse (our FSCC advocate and partner for domestic violence awareness/response and counseling services). An official program is scheduled for February 17, 2016 in the PAC during the break.  Pledge opportunities will be available throughout the month, including the day of the program. Please see Celeste Robertson, Linda Caldwell, or an SGA representative to support this worthy cause.

Thank you,

Chief Johnson
